NOMINATE FOR ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Boys basketball
GOSHEN — Seth Kauffman led Bethany with 25 points Thursday night. But at the final horn, the thunder belonged to Jason Jordan. The six-foot, two-inch junior drained a ten-foot jump shot with 16 seconds to play that gave. No. 17 Canterbury a 55-54 lead. Bethany advanced the ball to the frontcourt and called timeout with 7.4 seconds to play, but a driving layup from Kauffman missed the mark and Hamilton Thorne's putback with four seconds to play was no good. Jordan finished with 11 points, while Thorne scored six and grabbed three rebounds.
