HAMILTON, Ind. — Bethany held on for a 59-53 victory against Hamilton Tuesday night despite being outscored 15-14 in the fourth quarter. Seth Kauffman and Mikey Kelly combined to go 10-for-12 from the free throw line in that period. Kelly also added two three-point shots, while Kauffman grabbed seven rebounds and had five assists. The Bruins are now 5-7 and will host No. 15 Blackhawk on Saturday.
Kauffman passed Tom Lantz for third place on the school scoring list with 932 points.

Correction on the 4th quarter of the boys varsity game against Hamilton: Seth and Mikey combined to go 10-12 from the FT line in the fourth quarter. The TEAM was 12-14 from the charity stripe that quarter, but someone else (Ben or Jesse. I think Ben, but I don't have the scorebook in front of me) also made 2 FTs that quarter.
