An intermittent rain during the JV game forced Bethany's varsity to relocate temporarily to the press box, although they were long gone as Bethany scored in the second half to win 1-0. (No thanks to my scoresheet, which has disappeared sometime in the last half-hour.)

WARSAW, Ind. — Bethany won the Lakeland Christian invitational tournament on Saturday defeating Manchester 5-0, Keystone 4-1, Lakeland 2-0 in pool play and then Lakeview Christian 4-0 in the championship game. Ten players scored goals for the Bruins, led by Eder Paez with 4 and Q-Min Kim and Lucas Morgan with two each. Caleb Morris was the goalkeeper, allowing only one goal in the four games.

MS girls soccer lost to Plymouth 2-0 Friday.
