Bethany shows inexperience against Marian

GOSHEN — Bethany Christian’s JV boys’ soccer team got off to a shaky start as they dropped their home opener to Marian, 5-0.

arian kept the tempo of the game at a speedy pace; making the Bethany soccer team play at a pace they have not yet become accustomed to. Bethany showed their inexperience against the Marian team with Marian keeping the ball on the Bruins' side of the field more often than not. The Bruins will most likely use this experience as a measuring stick for the end of the season, with many improvements to be made. However, there is much hope for this JV team consisting of mostly freshmen, with a few sophomores thrown in.
