Bruin-Panther Rematch Starts Volleyball Sectional

INDIANAPOLIS — The pairings for the 39th annual Indiana High School Athletic Association volleyball tournament were drawn this morning, and Bethany will meet Lakewood Park in a quarterfinal match Thursday, Oct. 21 at Fort Wayne Canterbury. The Bruins and Panthers will meet for the second time in two weeks, as Lakewood Park won in four sets last Friday at home in Auburn. The winner of the Bethany-Lakewood Park match will meet either Howe or Blackhawk in the semifinal two days later, with the final later that evening. The top half of the bracket features ECA and Hamilton playing on Tues., Oct. 19 at 7:00 p.m., with the winner facing host and bye recipient Canterbury in the first semifinal.
